Shipping policy
At Lord of the Beards, we take pride in fast dispatch, reliable delivery, and clear expectations. The information below outlines how orders are processed, the delivery services we use, and how delivery issues are handled.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays).
Orders placed before 1:30pm on working days are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 1:30pm on Fridays, or on weekends and UK bank holidays, will be processed on the next working day.
Our business days are Monday to Friday.
Delivery Addresses
Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery address details are entered accurately and in full at checkout.
Lord of the Beards cannot be held responsible for loss or non-delivery if an order is delivered to an address that has been incorrectly provided by the customer.
If you are not available to receive deliveries during weekdays, we strongly recommend using a work address or a trusted alternative delivery location.
UK Delivery
We deliver throughout:
- UK Mainland
- Scottish Highlands & Islands
- Northern Ireland
- Isle of Wight
- Isles of Scilly
Delivery times are estimates from the date of dispatch, not the order date.
Delivery services:
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 – Estimated 2–3 working days
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 – Estimated 1–2 working days
- DPD Next Working Day – Estimated 1 working day
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to peak periods or circumstances outside our control. Selecting a faster service does not guarantee delivery on a specific date.
For higher-value orders, we may apply enhanced delivery measures, including signature confirmation, to help ensure secure receipt.
International Delivery
We deliver across Europe and to many international destinations worldwide. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact hello@lordofthebeards.com.
Import duties, taxes, and customs charges are not included in product or delivery prices and are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs clearance may affect delivery times.
International Tracked & Signed: Estimated 7–12 working days from dispatch.
Dispatch
While same-day dispatch is often achieved for UK orders placed before 1:30pm, this is not guaranteed. All other orders are dispatched within 48 hours where possible.
Tracking
Once dispatched, you will receive a delivery confirmation email containing tracking details. Tracking updates are provided by the courier and may include delivery scans, timestamps, or location data.
Safe Place & Delivery Instructions
If a customer selects, agrees to, or has previously authorised delivery to a safe place, or if a courier leaves a parcel in a location they deem appropriate (such as behind bins, porches, or similar), this is outside of our direct control.
We strongly advise choosing a delivery address where someone is available to receive the order, particularly for higher-value purchases. Parcels left unattended are inherently less secure.
Delivered but Not Received
If tracking confirms an order as delivered but the parcel cannot be located, customers must contact us within 7 days of the delivery date so the matter can be investigated promptly.
In these cases, our standard resolution is to issue a replacement order to ensure customers receive their purchase as quickly as possible.
Where a replacement is not suitable, or where circumstances reasonably require it, a refund may be offered at our discretion.
As part of the investigation, we may request confirmation of:
- delivery address details
- checks with neighbours or household members
- whether a safe place delivery was authorised
Claims raised outside of this timeframe may not be eligible for investigation.
For future orders, additional delivery safeguards may be applied where appropriate.
